Have you ever wondered what the inside of a CT machine looks like?
Well here it is . The CT machine had its annual service last week, and we took the opportunity to film it. The machine usually spins at a much faster rate, however the technician was checking the calibration hence the slow speed. Still very impressive to see.
The video is blurry because we have to stay behind the x-ray protective viewing window while it is use. This helps protect staff from unnecessary exposure radiation. Staff also wear dosimetry badges.
