Lucas graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in 2021 and worked as a first opinion small animal veterinarian in and around Inverness for three years before joining the ophthalmology team at Scottish Vet Referrals. He is currently undertaking his postgraduate certificate in veterinary ophthalmology.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outside and around the Highlands with his husband and their Greyhound, King.
