Meet little Pixie, who was in for her post-operative X-Rays today.🐶
Pixie had an issue with her cranial cruciate ligament in the stifle joint. This is quite a common type of orthopaedic condition that dogs develop. It results in lameness, discomfort and will lead to osteoarthritis development.
Pixie was treated by our surgical team, who performed a cranial closing wedge ostectomy in her knee joint.
This was Pixie’s sign off appointment as her radiographs look good and she is ready to get back to her regular lifestyle.🐾
